In the latest presscon of Sen. Trillanes about his alleged controversial foreign accounts, he clarly said that there is no bank named Nova Scotia in Canada. He even showed a document marking Nova Scotia as "non-existent" bank and vehemently denied the claimed earlier made by broadcaster Erwin Tulfo about the alleged Nova Scotia Bank account of Trillanes.

Erwin Tulfo was quoted as saying "Meron din po siya sa Nova Scotia. Itong Nova Scotia, ito po ay sa Canada." Sen. Trillanes denied the accusations by saying that "Yung sinasabi niya, ito, ito po yun, ano? Yung Nova Scotia bank na tinatawag, alam niyo po ba na walang ganyang banko."

A foreign news clip also showed and described the existence of the Bank of Nova Scotia: "The Bank of Nova Scotia is one of North America's premier financial institution and Canada's most international bank. The Globe and Mail ranks the Bank of Nova Scotia as the third largest company in Canada with a capitalization in excess of $55 Billion."

The expose was made by a popular Facebook Page Angat Pinoy that went viral on social media and elicited negative comments from most netizens who expressed their dismay into Sen. Trillanes alleged lies exposed on broad daylight.
