Chito Gascon's Salary and Benefits as CHR Chairman Revealed

Chito Gascon, Commission on Human Rights Chairman, emotionally left the house of representatives Tuesday.

This, after the majority of the congressmen voted for the said commission's budget of Php1000.00 for the year 2018 instead of the initially proposed P649.484 million budget.

Amid this fuss, a photo of what seemed to be a breakdown of some of the government official's compensation and benefits surfaced online.

In the photo, Chito Gascon is bound to receive a very huge amount of money. However, whether or not the photo circulating is authentic is uncertain as of writing.

Meanwhile, several senators already expressed their disagreement with the budget that the congress passed.

Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, a representative of the Liberal Party, took to twitter his disapproval on what transpired on Tuesday.
